Injured at Work
If you have been involved in an accident or suffered an injury at work, then your employer may be liable. To find out if you have a claim, please call our Personal Injury specialists today on 01256 844888.
Accidents at work can take many different forms. There are some industries in which employees are at an inherent increased risk of injury – such as those working on construction sites, using machinery, working in warehouses, or any job that involves physical activity. Although there are still risks of injury in workplaces that may not appear high risk – such as in an office or retail premises.
Your employer has a duty of care to ensure that you are safe from physical harm whilst at work and if they have failed to provide you with adequate safety measures, equipment, training or support then you could have grounds for a personal injury claim.
The amount of compensation you could be entitled to will depend on the type of injury you have sustained, the length of period of pain and suffering, and the financial losses you have incurred.
We understand that it can be difficult to raise a claim against your employer, and the relationship can be strained, especially if you are unable to work as a result of your injuries. We work closely with our Employment Law Team to ensure that you have the best advice on both your injury claim and also your employment rights.
You may also have a claim against a past employer if you have been subjected to working with materials such as asbestos, glues, acids or other hazardous materials that have affected your health – even if the symptoms appear long after your exposure.
If you have suffered from an injury and require specialist guidance then please call our team on 01256 844888 or email enquiries@lambbrooks.com.
